In her first television incarnation, Lassie lived on a small farm in the Midwestern town of Calverton, with the Miller family: her boy Jeff Miller, Jeff's war widow mother Ellen, and Jeff's grandfather (his dad's father), George Miller. Sylvester Brockway, otherwise known as "Porky," and his basset hound Pokey were regularly featured. The Jeff episodes lasted for three seasons. |
